About the Artist

Dave LaroDave Laro
A native Vermonter and self-taught artist, Dave Laro is inspired by Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, and Varujan Boghosian. Much of his art includes materials he's found at flea markets or by searching old cellar holes and pre-1950's homestead dumps. Laro’s three dimensional pop art constructions incorporate his professional skills in wood carving, furniture making and stonework. Dave credits his work to being a constant observer, collector, and builder.
