My recent work is concerned with the ritual of layering. I am exploring the spaces between structure, fluidity, density, and the visible effects of light through pigment to create a moment in time. I love the sense of the unexpected, the sensation of scent, and the anticipation evoked by moving wax. Marrying image and medium is what I am most interested in.
